Keep a running total of total debt on a spread sheet. Pay the minimum every month on all but the highest interest debt. Pay as much extra as you can on the highest interest debt. Monitor your total debt each month. Your goal is to get that total number to be less and less each month. Pay cash for new purchases and don't add to your total debt.
